We went to Memorial Park to play and feed the duck some on Friday morning. The geese and ducks acted as if they were starved. I've never seen them act so hungry. Beth played some, feed the ducks some and then we went to McDonalds for some lunch and more playtime. Beth likes there playscape well enough and she actually eats the nuggets pretty well. I took some pictures of the kids on the playground with my cellphone but I have to find the adaptor for the memory card before I can upload them however I do have some funny pictures to share from home during potty time.
Beth is a shy pottier especially when it is #2. She will tell me to "Go Away" and then pulls the shower curtain over her. Well I was sitting in front of her on her step stool talking to her and she tells me to hide with her under the shower curtain. Boy oh boy have her #2's really developed a smell.
Friday evening we went to one of Beth's class mates birthday party. It was enjoyable but so tiring. Just Beth, myself and Zach. So the party is outside and I have to contain Beth and keep Zach happy just very busy and tiring by the end. There were several larger kids there which made it difficult because they are so unaware of bumping into smaller kids.
They had a nice blow up slide that Beth really enjoyed.

Saturday we got up and the weather was so cool and nice out and not very sunny. So we took the kids out and enjoyed some time in the back yard. I let Zach try the swing and he really enjoyed it (or at least he didn't hate it). Beth had a blast chasing the dogs with her automatic water squirt gun. She was giggling, running and having a blast until one of the dogs bumped her and then it wasn't so fun.

Sunday we went to breakfast at Cracker Barrell where Beth chomped down on some biscuits. Then we just kind of wasted the rest of the day away doing much of nothing. Didn't take any pictures because there just wasn't much going on.

I forgot the camera today so you'll have to take my word for it.
Today (Monday) we took Sadie to the vet to have the operation on her knee. There ended up being some last minute confusion on which knee was to be operated. The doctor says she is showing problems with her right (which is what we have noticed lately) however the doctor that diagnosed this (and wanted to charge us an arm and a leg for the operation) says it is the left knee. The doctor doing the operation ended up correcting the right knee and suspects that the left will need to be corrected in the future. The operation was successful and Sadie will spend the next 2 weeks there. Next week we will be in Disney and this week it just so I don't have to worry with helping her out to use the bathroom with 2 kids in tow.
Beth was so sweet dropping Sadie off and when we got back in the car without her asked "Where is Sadie?" She has asked several times today so we are going to try to visit her on Wednesday.
Our playgroup was meeting today at the library in Watkinsville which worked out perfect since that is where the vet is located. So we meet with some friends did some Halloween crafts and Beth ran around the room in circles with the other kids for about 2 hours.
Later this evening we went to North Oconee County High Schools band practice. Beth has this obsession with bands. Friday before last we were outside playing and you could here a band from our house. We finally figured it must be Prince Avenue Baptist School they don't have their own band but the visiting team did. So we quickly got Beth bathed and ready and of course Zach feel asleep so he stayed home with Dad. So just Beth and I went to see the band, she absolutely loved every minute of it. We even stayed for a little bit of the football game but the band was the highlight for her. She has the DoodleBop instruments here and one is a drum well lately she has started strapping it own, beating it with the drum sticks and marching around the house, so cute!
She enjoyed the band practice and I think we will try to visit again after we get back from Disney but we will try to go closer to the end of practice when maybe they will run through larger segments of their show.
We have been to see the UGA Redcoats band practice once but so far our schedule hasn't worked out for us to go to another. Hopefully we can go again before the season is over.
